WA beauty Scherri-Lee Biggs was a clear crowd favourite at the Miss Universe Australia final and the masses got it right.
Now she is headed for Brazil to represent the nation on September 12.
The 20-year-old South African-born model wowed the audience in her bikini then donned a low-cut silver sequin evening gown with a provocative split.
At question time when asked her opinion on child beauty pageants, Ms Biggs said children should get the choice to enter rather than "pushy" parents.
With her parents, sisters and boyfriend watching, the communications student said she wanted to use the Miss Australia title to guide and give confidence to young girls. In Brazil, she hopes to "offer something that represents Australia, which is fun and energetic".
